Hey All-
Trying to set up an anon ftp server on RedHat 6.1. As per RedHat, I'm trying to install NetKit-B.rpm which contains the ftp daemon. Problem is, when I try to rpm it, I get the error: "Failed dependencies. Shadow is needed bt NetKit-B.rpm". I'm currently using shadow for password protection, have put /etc temporarily in my search path and have opened max permissions on shadow so that NetKit can do what it needs with it. No success, I get the same darned error. Any thoughts or suggestions for better setting up an anon ftp?
