Hello People,

I used the process management in KDE to look at the process running on my computer. And its listing a process which is running as root.

Its showing the process command line as

-:0

I tried to kill this process by logging in as root. When I killed it, it simply logs me off and displays the login screen. I logged in as the user again and the process is still there. Does any one know whats happening?? I am running apache, telnet, ssh servers on my system. The distro is redhat 7.2

Am I hacked???
I am a newbie and I put the security level to medium when instaling the OS.

Thanks in advance

I think that's your currently running X server-session id.

ROTFL :D :D

Didn't give you a clue when you killed the process and the system kicked you out of X?

Why would you post the same question twice in the same forum under completely different topics?
