X problems

I'm running Caldera and just updated X from 4.0.x to 4.1.x. The compile and install went fine. When I start X, I get to login, but as soon as KDE is about to start I get this error:

Startup program /etc/X11/kdm/Xstartup exited with non-zero status.

Can anyone help?

I did a search on google, and on some messageboard, someone had a similar problem. They thought that Xstartup was looking for a certain package that was missing. Try checking your Xstartup script to see what it needs & then check if that's there.

Yeah, I think you're right. Maybe the install didn't go as good as I thought. I tried to start X with "startx" and got a missing libXmuu.so.1 file error. I'll figure it out (somehow). Thanks :)
