although wvdial is very straight foward .. but i am facing problem dialing to my ISP ..
i had a similer problem when i was using Kppp but i got over it by putting an argument "noauth" in the pppd settings ..
when i dial to my isp it say athentication failed & then suddenly says pppd deamon has died ..i checked my username & password they are ok .
my isp uses plain text passwords ..
i think my pppd is trying to authenticate my isp server ..
how can i correct it .
any wvdial users out there ?
