I've got a problem when installing mandrake linux. The installation goes well until the stage when they ask me about SCSII drivers. I've got no idea what SCSII driver do I have (it doesn't recognize it by itself) so I answer: No SCSII device. Than the installation guide writes: No device found to be a system of files (not literally but I use polish installatio version - this is my translation). What is that? My hard drive is Seagate Barracuda 30,8 GB IDE? IS it possible that it doesn't know how to deal with such a drive? How can I fix it?

Any help appreciated

Michal

Didn't you skip the fdisk stage of the install ? Post the error message in polish.
I think I might be able to help http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

One other question, is your HD interface ATA 33 or 66?
