There used to be a text vesion of kazaa that worked well, it is apparently no longer available for download. I know of no other fastrack network clients for linux. Ive seen reports of Kazaa under wine but have never tried it myself.

Has anyone made a kazaa client for linux?

I've become very fond of gtk-gnutella, here, lately. Just works like a charm, fast, tight, and no grief.

KaZaA doesn't support Linux unfortunately, so that article at Linux Orbit is out-dated. At the time it was written, before KaZaA kicked Morpheus off of their network, it worked just fine. They've done several upgrades since that make that client inoperable.

Actually it did support linux. I had the official linux kazaa client downloaded striaght from their website. Yes the link is outdated and all links to the download, which you can find many, are dead. But it was officially supported for a short period of time.

I don't know if this is to your liking but I use gk-gnutella. No blocks no hassles. the gnutellas have client programs for gnome (the gk version) as well as native kde versions
here is a good url: http://www.gnutelliums.com/
