Can I do a dual boot install with Redhat or a WIN type install like I can with MANDRAKE?
I am trying to get into all this stuff here and wanna try this stuff out! Can I get some tips or help here?Whats a good dual boot program to use? Is system commander any good for this type of stuff?
Thanks Much!!

yes, system commander can meet your needs, but why not use Lilo.
Here's what you do:
After setting up your partitions make sure you install windows first then install Red Hat or your distro of choice on the partition you've assigned for it and make sure you tell lilo to install to your Red Hat boot partition. Lilo will take care of the rest no need to tell it which system(s) to boot as it detects windows automaticly
Hope I haven't confused you.

The easiest way is to make your partitions, then install windows xx, then install redhat and tell it to install a workstation and let it auto partition. When it's finished you'll have lilo asking to run linux or dos. You can go to control panel and edit the list. It works fine.

Sorry I meant you can go to linuxconfig and edit the list. Edit lilo.conf also to make the list in lilo say what you want.

Just do it! Reinstall it exactly where it was before! After you do that, boot into RedHat using the cdrom or boot floppy (please tell me you made one during the install!) and then, at a command line (in a terminal) type /sbin/lilo as root and that will put lilo back where it was before so you can boot whichever OS you want to.
If this is confusing or you have more questions, fire away!
