A friend just had to reinstall NT, but in doing so, he also had to add another partition to where the NT partition was.
The old layout had the four primary partitions and that's it (hda1 for win98, hda2 for NT, hda3 for Linux swap, hda4 for Linux ext2). The new layout turned hda3 into an extended partition with hda5 for NT and hda6 for extra fat16 space (a backup partition rewriteable by all OSes, and NT had to be reinstalled, BTW). Now, however, LILO won't boot NT. The only way to boot NT is to uninstall LILO, which is annoying. When LILO tries to boot NT, it says Loading nt, but then does nothing.
So, any ideas as to what's wrong?

Too much Sun can give you cancer. Windows break too easily.
Apples/Macintoshes can rot. BSD... sounds too much like LSD.
Penguins are the only animals sophisticated enough to wear a
tuxedo.
Linux, the only one with the Penguin.
