other than NVIDIA - any good openGL?

Other than NVIDIA are there any video adapters that perform exceptionally well with Linux - in particular, with good openGL -not the Mesa software rendering junk?

For someone buying a new card today it's pretty much a choice between Nvidia Geforce or ATI Radeon, other cards are support but these are the only two product families that have decent performance.

Edit: I'm talking consumer level cards here of course, not high end stuff.
