Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Linux locking up on me
KDE boots fine, but when I click on a program icon to activate it, the whole thing locks up on me.
1) Any ideas why this is happening?
2) How can I findout what is running and trying to run?

I am unaware on why it is locking up, but I know that you can go to your terminal and type "ps -aux" and it will give you all services running.
Still the same problem; KDE locks up whenever I try to launch anything.
Is Gnome more stable?
Is there some way I can re-install KDE?
Any Advice?

This sounds video driver related.
If ctrl-alt-backspace doesn't take you out of X after you think it's crashed then it probably has nothing to do with KDE.
