Hi. I have just installed RedHat 7 on my Dell Inspiron 5000 laptop.
I have edited my XF86Config file with the following data:
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "LCD Panel"
VendorName "IBM"
ModelName "ITSX93"
HorizSync 30-100
VertRefresh 50-100
ModeLine "1400x1050" 107 1400 1464 1784 1912 1050 1052 1064 1090
EndSection
Now, this works beautifully, and i have a nice big 32bit 1400x1050 resolution... But.
The thing is, i have to 'scroll' around the screen using my mouse. For example, say i want to view the topright of the desktop, i have to scroll the mouse up to the top right of the screen so that the view is scrolled into view.
Does anyone know how to set the view so that everything is contained within the 1400x1050, so that i don't have to scroll?
Thanks in advance.
