Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Moving IE bookmarks to Konqueror
I am trying to make the transition from using just Windows to using Linux and Windows. One small thing I would like to do is transfer my bookmarks from IE (favorites) to Konqueror. I did read (briefly) the manual, and I did not see an answer.
Is there any way I can just copy my Favorites directory from my Windows profile over to some directory in the Linux tree?
Thanks!

Since I switch between windows and linux quite often, I like to keep my bookmarks at an online bookmark web site. I use blink, www.blink.com, (http://www.blink.com) but there are others.
If you use blink, you can import your favorites from IE or netscape onto their web page. Now you can get your favorites anywhere you have internet access.
I think you can also export your favorites to a format that konq can use.

You were right about the export and import. The only thing is that IE exports as a .htm file, and you need to change the extention to .html for Konqueror.
Thanks!
