I was recently installing the latest ssh rpms and I had to downgrade the openSSL installation to get openssh to work properly. Then when I installed openssh-server it needed an even older version of openssl. 0.9.5a i think? Anyways, now that I have sshd working fine, when I try and run lynx it says it needs a newer openssl installed. Any suggestions to fix a problem like this? Or any suggestions for a good replacement for lynx would be great.
** This is a little update since the post. The problem is, sshd needs the file libcrypto.so.0 which doesn't come with the latest OpenSSL install. Programs like lynx, smb, etc. need libcrypto.so.1. Which isn't included in the older OpenSSL releases. (from what I can tell)
Thx
