How do I have Linux reconnect to ISP after it disconnects?

I'm trying to get WebAdmin to work but my machine at home keeps hanging up the Internet connection.

My question is how do I get the system to automatically re-establish the connection and somehow send me the newly established IP number so I can telnet to my machine.
Any ideas?
