3D graphics support for SIS630 chipset

Hello !
Anybody got 3D acceleration (directx/opengl/mesa/...) working with a SIS630 integrated graphics chip ? How did you do it ?
I'm using Mandrake 8.2 and neither mdk installation nor the SIS download site seems to offer a solution ... please help me to play "tuxracer" ;-)

I copied the X-Driver from the page and changed XF86Config-4 accordinglym and: it works :-)
But it's incredibly slow, about 3 fps. Is that normal for a machine like mine ? What can I do to make it faster ?
