Just asking if anyone has had the same problem.
I burned a copy of the redhat 7.0 iso so I didn't have to keep it on HD, aaaaand (I used CeQuadrats WinOnCD) when I put the disk into the drive with the burner, works okay (not sure if bootable). When I try it on the machine I'm gonna install on things go wrong.
When I try to view the contents, the CD litterally makes my drive go spaz... All I hear is: whirl whirl KAAAAACHUNK whiiiiirl KAAAACHUNK KAAAAACHUNK.
Most other CD-R's I've used (ones recorded by the supplier of my PC for example) work fine. No probs at all... But the ones I burned myself cause my drive to sieze up.
I'm thinking it might be the CD's I'm burning onto, cause anything else burned onto the same CD's cause this problem.
Maybe CD-RW? or my CD-ROM is ****ed? Or bad media?
Anyone got any idea's? I have no other media to test on (and I have a LARGE amount) just wanted to be sure before I go pay for more disks.
TIA
