I have several Pentium machines without CDROMs but with the network cards and I would like to set them up with RH Linux (I have 6.1, 6.2, 7.0 CDs). I also have Linux setup on another machine ( with CDROM). I need as much detail info as possible how to do this.
Thanks

Make the required floppies to boot with (boot/root, network support one, etc.). Then put the CD in the linux box, and mount it. Then either configure your webserver (apache), ftp daemon, or nfs daemon to either serve it up on request or export the file system.

I have Apache set up on the other machine and I am able to list the files on the CD thru the browser. BUT when I get to the point during the installation where I can specify the IP and location of the CDROM files I get an error about bad FTP requests/responses (don't remember - I am at work now). Any idea?
By the way do you know how to set up ftp server on linux that will work. I have tried the wu-ftp and anonymous ftp RPMs that come with RH but I can not get it to work.

If Apache is serving the files, then do a http install - not a ftp one.

For help setting up a good ftp server, check chapter (I think) 47 in Redhat Linux Unleashed. You can get the book online free from www.informit.com (http://www.informit.com)
