i cant get linux mandrake 7.0 to run with my windows. Every time i try to run it it says cant find kernal image and cant load loadlin.exe. Can some one please help me?

I've never used that, might find it a better idea to just install it on a separate partition. Unless that's what you are trying to do, in which case, the CD-ROM is bootable (if your bios allows you to boot from CD-ROM) if not you can use a bootdisk. There are instructions on how to make one on the CD. I'm sorry if this offers no help, but I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to do. justlinux.com
