Why is this forum here, when there's a Programming, Script depot too?

I agree ... a little confusing ... possiblly this is more of a 'how i did it' script depot? A little clarification would be appreciated ... thanx :)

This forum was actually on the old LNO as well as Linux: Installation Help....They were just "hidden". I guess when the conversion took place they got un-hidden.

Kill the damn thing already! I mean how many scripting forums do we need. And same thing for Web serving and networking forums. One or the other!

There is a huge difference in the questions asked in the web serving and networking forums.... I like having both of them. But I agree that it would be nice to get rid of one of these though....

ditto! (and not purge this forum, but move all its topics to programming script depot first). i guess that the webmasters have too much work now and that they can't read all the forums...
/me wonder if that "report post to a moderator" will actually work and not contact the HALs but the admins:confused:

Well, I got your message, so I assume the rest of the moderators did. Not sure if the admins did though. One thing you could do would be to look for posts made by the Black Belts and see if you can grab off their email address.

This was the precursor to the Programming, Script Depot forum, I believe. Then Sensei realized more than just scripts could be discussed here and tacked on Programming (don't know why he made a separate forum instead of just changing the name, but oh well). The installation help forum is also an old one that was nixed by Sensei. I remember seeing these in the UBB Control Panel back when I used to prune posts regularly. We (former) HALs can't do anything about it, so the best bet is to contact the Black Belts about it.
