First, while at http://www.linuxnewbie.org, I could not find the forum login page, the one where the login boxes were 'at the bottom' as mentioned in LiNuTs' thread.
As you can see, I figured out how to get in.... but why not have a link which sends us 'to LNO Forums'? Yes, I saw the direct links to threads, but I wanted to get to forum home.
Ah-ha!
I found a link button which says 'home' (upper right)..... but at first glance, I thought that meant 'LNO Home'. Hmm.... Kinda like what Xsecrets was saying. Oh well, as GW (GW Basic) used to say: 'Syntax error - Redo from start'.
Second, I eventually found the forum login, but my password no longer worked. Yes, I know capslock vs lc, and I tried it several times (Opera 6.03 reporting as Opera, running W98SE).
As you can see, I figured out how to get in.... By requesting a new password and changing it at first login to the same password I always used. :-\
Third, as a suggestion, change forum color scheme after logging in..... mandrakeuser forum does that, I really like the ability to tell whether I'm logged in by simply seeing the forums' 'just browsing' colors are different from the 'actually logged in' colors.
Looking very nice, despite these simple quirks; thanks for the efforts in cleaning up LNO!
