Netscape won't load applet on RH Linux 6

I can't get the 4.5.1 version of Netscape (that came on the RedHat 6 distribution) to load an applet, but otherwise it works fine. I even downloaded the Netscape 4.6.1 RPM from the RH 6 Errata page and it fails as well on an applet load (starting Java). When I run Netscape from the command line, I get "Bus error", but it starts Netscape. If I turn off Java in Netscape, I am OK.

Seems like a config problem, but I am running on a fresh install, so I would assume the RH install would configure things correctly.

Any help would be appreciated!!

The problem is a bug shipped with Redhat 6.0. It has something to due with the relationship between Java and font sizes. There's a fix for it at the Redhat page in the knowledge base.
