Has anybody here gotten firestarter to work in KDE? I had it working in Gnome just fine, but when I tried to get it to run in KDE I got the following error:

If this is possible please let me know at your soonest convenience. The error I am getting in KDE and XFCE are:
Application "firestarter" (process 29923) has crashed due to fatal error. (Segmentation fault)
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from (NULL ) pointer to `GtkContainer'
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from (NULL ) pointer to `GtkObject'
Firestarter will start and function in the Gnome environment but as I stated earlier Gnome is not an option currently.

I don't want to run Gnome because of the following reasons:
1 - SLOW!
2 - Sound still doesn't work! Been trying for a year now!
3 - No matter which WM I use it's SLOW!

So if anybody has an idea or has gotten it to work in either the XFCE3 or KDE enviorment please tell me how you did it! Thank you.
