About my KDE compiler

I tried to install knapster(a napster program) and after doing ./configure, it fails when checking the 'kde libraries'.

How do I check my libraries integrity, or wath else could be the problem?

Be sure that you have added your KDE directory to your PATH. Also, if you are running KDE2, many programs will not compile with the latest version of QT. Do you have Gnome installed at all? If so, give gnapster a shot - it is a bit more stable than knapster IMO.
