I got KDE2 up and running and it is pretty nice, however, I have 2 questions. One, how do I get things to autostart? In kde1 there was the Autostart folder on the desktop and you put links in there. In kde2, the program klipper runs on start up and I don't want it to. Also, in my autostart folder on my desktop is a link to imwheel -k, so my scroll button will work, but it isn't launched on startup. How do I autostart stuff in KDE2?

Thanks,

Put "imwheel -p &" in your /etc/X11/Xsession file (without the quotes).

For other startup stuff, you can often add them to /etc/rc.d/rc.local without problems. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
