Browsing the webpages at freebsd.org i saw they had a lot of astronomy software to choose from during install. Anyone knows about this software for Linux ? I would be really interested in that.

There is a Glide/GL simulator for the solar system (forget the name off hand tho), and http://linux.tucows.com has a extensive listing of scientific stuff - take a look. BTW - if the BSD programs you saw are Open Source, it may be possible to compile/run it under Linux.

There's a lot of physics related stuff but there's still quite a few astronomy related apps, too.
