"IP Virtual Server" error on boot

I am running Mandrake 8.0 and have noticed a couple of "IP Virtual Server" error messages during the boot process (sorry I have not been able to record them yet, i'll try again). Can anyone advise as to what this "IP Virtual Server" is and where I can access it in Mandrake ? I'm hoping it's something I can just remove/shutdown.
