tinyfirewall

I'm using Mandrake 8.0 and used Mandrake Control Center to configure tinyfirewall. I haven't been able to find any info on tinyfirewall. Does anyone know how good it is? It seems to use iptables and Bastille, and seems to be good, but I'm not sure. Is it better to make iptables rules myself, or is using tinyfirewall fine (home user w/cable modem)? Also, if you know where to find info about tinyfirewall, I'd appreciate it.
