Newbie needs help making win/linux box...

I have been running Linux Mandrake for a little while now and when I installed I created a 7gig partition in case I needed Windows for something... Now I do.. So how to I install to it? I tried just installing windows with the bootdisk/CD and it gets errors...

I hope that 7GB was the first 7GB on the partition, because Windows is picky about that - it likes to be the first partition on the primary master. Otherwise, I think it's a lost cause doing this without shuffling partitions.

Strikes got it.
If you install windows now you'll lose the bootloader in the MBR as windows overwrites it. Best way to do it is start over and install windows first then Linux.
