Game Voice

Does anyone use linux with the microsoft Game Voice? No I don't mean actually using it in games, just having the sound work in linux with the headphones or speakers when connected to the game voice? OR is there anyhting I need to do to make sounds output to the line out instead of the normal speakers plugin? I put up the volume on everything i could see but it didnt seem to work so I'm not sure what to do.
