This does ring a bell, though I'm sure I'm not the one that told you what to set... is your video card a 3dfx?

If so, there are Glide shell variables you can set to enable and disable certain features... I think there are some with Mesa too; try looking at www.mesa3d.org (http://www.mesa3d.org) to see if you can find some documentation.

Thank you, but if I remember correctly, when I did get it to work last time it had to do with a library path for glibc.

And my vid card is a Geforce 256 DDR, not 3dfx.

I'm still trying to get this working...and I'm almost out of hair... :(

Errr... don't know then, off the top of my head.

Sorry!!!

Is there a copy of glibc or libc in the installer somewhere? That might help, but I don't know...
