what is the key command for copy in linux.. RH7.0

In some apps, you can type control-C to copy.
However, the standard linux copy command is to hilight whatever you want to copy. Then go to where you want to paste it and click your middle mouse button. You don't have to type any commands to copy it that way. If you don't have a middle mouse button, you can click both the left and right buttons at the same time. That does the same thing as the middle button.

It's usually ctrl-c, but I don't know if that's different in RH.
