Hey, I'm searching how you can play quake-gl in fullscreen, that'd be 1337.

And I want to get Quake done Quicker with a Vengeance.

I haven't seen this quake done quicker what exactly is it?

Also glx quake is possible I know some one wrote a how-to on working the quake source code to get glx card working for it, and the post may still be in this forum section u just have to really search for it, It links to another forum and the how-to on the compiling and installing of quake recompiled glx files.

NB
EDIT : after thought. to get quake to be full screen simply add the -width <and hte size of your current screen's width> to the command line when u run quake.

try www.quakeforge.net (http://www.quakeforge.net) for total opengl support and brings the game up to modern graphic standards.
I have never been more impressed with any project for games then quakeforge

Quake Done Quicker with a Vengeance is a "movie" where they passed all the game in less than 13 minutes, at Nightmare level.

Quake done Quick homepage (hope that the URL is good) (http://www.planetquake.com/qdq/)

I'll give a try to quakeforge...

you must have the game already installed then
copy /usr/local/bin/quake-gl to /usr/local/games/quake

you must launch game from the directory

cd /usr/local/games/quake
