GL games only as root?

I installed Mandrake 8.0, and Unreal Tournament on my system this morning along with the nvidia 1.0 drivers for my Geforce 2 card.

Everything works geat as root, but as any user no opengl stuff works, it just segfaults.

Any ideas?

This has some good information and the definate solution to the root only problem I had. It was a problem of permissions on the nvidia devices in /dev.
