Is there a way to install Quake 3 (full) for linux with my windows q3 Cd? I know for UT that works but with Q3, is it possible? If so, can you give me the URL of a site where they explain how to do that?

Just download and install the current Linux point release. Its a *.run file which you will more than likely have to set as an executable before you can run it (chmod +x *.run). Once you've made it executable just type ./*.run as root(su) and it will install by default to /usr/local/games/quake3. Next step is to mount your quake3 cdrom and cd to the baseq3 folder on the cdrom. Now copy pak0.pk3 from that folder to /usr/local/games/quake3/baseq3 and you're good to go. justlinux.com
