Got Q3A working (joyyyyy!), but the mouse seems "laggy". Not crazy laggy, just a little. Railing is VERY hard to do. Any suggestions?

Clean your mouse ball and rollers.
Also, try disabling dga mouse support - I forget the cmd line switch, but it should be in the docs.
