how do you install mods? i tried to install weaponsfactory arena, so i extracted the files to the same place they are on my windows partition, and it doesn't show up in my list of mods... how do i use a mod in linux?

I think it is as simple as putting the .pk3 file in the proper place... check www.planetquake.com (http://www.planetquake.com) - they have a pretty good page on installing mods, and the process shouldn't be any different for linux vs. win32.

well, i put the files in the same directory, and they don't show up...

I think the mod menu is broken in the linux version of the latest point release. I have Alliance CTF and Rocket Arena installed on my Linux installation of Q3A and neither is listed under the mods menu. You can start up mods by adding +set fs_game modname to your start up command, 'modname' being the name of the directory the mod is installed in.

well, that didn't work either... i get this error about "can't load /scripts" or something...
