how do i change screen resolution?

i want to change the resolution to 1024x768

Goto a Terminal in Madrake, and type: su then type your root password. After that, type in Xconfigurator and it should pop up your Monitor/Video setup and stuff.

If you are in X, you can also use Ctrl-Alt-Numpad+ or Ctrl-Alt-Numpad- to increase and decrease resolution.

If you just want it to be 1024x768 then only check the 1024x768 boxes in Xconfigurator
