Hi - i'm having trouble installing Linux Mandrake 7.2
my system boots the CD OK, and allows me to begin installation, however when the screen appears for me to choose my country and other details I cannot move the mouse or presss anything on the keyboard.
Does anyone know what I should do and/or what the problem is?
both my Keyboard and Mouse are USB if that makes any difference.

Be sure that if you have USB legacy mounse/keyboard support as an option in BIOS that they are enabled.
You also may be able to start with a PS2 or serial mouse and configure the USB stuff during the installation.

CMonster says, "You can't choose the right OS if you don't have a choice."

uh, yeah, that is probably the problem, IMHO
do what the CMonster says, beg, borrow, or steal a ps/2 mouse/keyboard to get the install done, then switch over one at a time

Applying knowledge to precalc:
Solution = { If (Cheapmouse){buy a good one like microsofts intelimouse} else if (cheapmotherboard){get a decent one}};
Well at any rate hit up http://www.linux-usb.org and RTFM (that seems to be the buzz word around these parts now adays)
