Wanted: Slot A Athlon Processor, IDE hard drive

Hey, I was looking to replace my Athlon 700 with something a bit faster. I'm looking for AT LEAST a 1 Ghz here. I would like a heatsink / fan with it, but I guess it's not necessary.

My mobo is a Epox EP-7KXA, but it should work fine (I think :rolleyes: )

I've never replaced a processor before,Is it very difficult? It doesn't seem that hard to me... but I've never done it.

I'm also looking for a 20-30 Gig or more Hard Drive to add to my system. I want 7200 RPM, don't care about the brand too much.


So, yah, I don't have much hardware to trade.. I have a AGP 4x/2x Geforce2 GTS vid card with 64 mb DDR and NO tv-out which is like new, and I also have a Lucent modem, but I have no idea if it works under Linux, as I haven't used it in about a year...

So, yah, let me know, I'd be willing to trade what little I have, pay cash, or both if you have either of these. Make an offer.

slot a 's of a .25 arch are impossible to find and run very expensive, check out www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) or ebay.com, but if all u need is a tbird slot a then just hit the first web page they are still cheap.
