Monster system - What is this worth?

This isn't for sale.. yet. I'm trying to get an idea for what my setup is worth. I'm transferring colleges next year, and gonna live on campus, and this thing is just way too big. I would like to get a laptop. But anyways, someone tell me what you think this is worth:

I think it's a pretty nice setup. Both of the monitors have awesome pictures. The only thing wrong with anything in the setup is that the compaq monitor has a crack in the front plastic frame. I had a monitor place look at it, and it doesn't affect anything else in the monitor, and it's perfectly safe. I joined the crack together with jb weld (stupid idea), so now the crack is very visible.

Anyways, what do you think this setup is worth? Like if I were to sell it, what do you think a fair price would be?

i don't know, but if you found the right person, you could trade straight up for a very good laptop

Yeah, but the school I'm going to has network jacks at like every desk in every room.

I just really want a laptop, and I'm nowhere near to being close to affording one. And I really don't need two computers.

Will someone at least ballpark a price? Locals around here have said around $2000 for everything? Would you guys affirm that? I don't know when it comes to the internet.

You'll probably be lucky to get half of $2000.. When it comes to used computer equipment, the general rule I follow is "It's worth less than you think it's worth." Also, you'd probably make mroe parting it out, so look to see what all the individual parts sell for, add it up, and see. I say keep it and just buy a laptop in addition. :)

I dunno, Ebay seems to be prime grounds for overpriced items. I see laptops like mine (Toshiba T1910cs) going for $90. (I paid $20 for mine) Though There are good deals on it. I bet you could get close to that price on there.
