Ok, I have a bunch of questions about this:

1. Will I need to modify my Playstation in any way for it to work?

2. How hard is it to install?

3. The directions I found aren't very detailed and I'm a linux newbie, anyone wanna walk me through step-by-step or point me to a site that will?

4. Will it ruin my PSX?

5. How stable is it?

Thanks.

from what I understand...

PS2 will _not_ have to modified other than installing software on it and the harddisk configuring. It seems that you will have to buy a keyboard and mouse ( both usb ) and harddisk.

as far as i know psx/linux (the runix.ru ver.) will work on any PSX or PS2 w/o modification. I still have to download/compile it though. I havn't heard much obout the other version(s)
