well unlike everyone here I DONT HAVE A DSL!!! I have a 56k modem and my quickest download of a distro like that is 3 weeks!!!
I was hoping someone will hook me up with burned copies and I will even pay the shipping. If its packaged I have some **** I can trade for it.

The only (current) thing I have is Caldera 2.4... Solaris 8 soon, I like the idea of swapping OS (though, not everything is legal to swap..) Linux distributions though... Gotta start dling some distro's, I figure if I'm always downlaoding an iso I can almost keep up with thep ace.. <-- 56k as well

when i get my burner working in linux i would be willing to do something like this on a limited basis. right now the burner is on my wife's pc with win98 and the crappy software that came with it don't do .iso
i tried nero and it don't like her crappy burner, so i got to either move her burner to a linux box or buy me a new fast scsi burner for my box
i will email you when i get this all sorted out or post here

well, i can burn iso's on my desktop, no problem. but, my laptop has a little problem... it can't read cd-rs. this sorta sucks as you can imagine. i also need cds for my sparc. so, i can trade...

burns of any distro out there. what i need... openbsd cd for sparc. an actual pressed cd of libranet, storm, or debian for my laptop.

If you're in the northeast US, there's a great distro scarfing to come.

Okay, it's actually the Linux World Expo at Jacob Javitz Center in New York City at the end of the month.

I know.... I have FreeBSD, its fine and dandy, but OpenBSD has a very very very very strong kernel, and a lot of power behind it, I know I may sound like a retard but I'm looking for open BSD 2.8 thanks though.

ok, i'm not the sharpest tool in the shed

since it isn't on linuxiso.org, you are going to have to give me a url of what you want, i am checking some of the ftp/http mirrors from the openbsd web site, but i don't see any .iso files yet, tell me what you want, please

www.hadiko.de/ftp/dists/openbsd/ISO/ (http://www.hadiko.de/ftp/dists/openbsd/ISO/)

yeah, that works http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
