Way back in December I bought an AthlonXP 1600+ and it wouldnt work. The computer store I bought it off sent it off for warranty and gave me another, at no charge. I get a call today saying that it has come back and they want to give it to me! Unfortunate thing is I have no use for another AthlonXP - and they wont let me cash it in for credit, so thats why I'm here.

Brand spanking new AthlonXP 1600+ never used (or I at least doubt it was) for sale or trade. Im guessing they go for around AU$200 (1700's go for AU$219) so thats ~US$105-110.

--or--

You can swap it for something I want. I wouldnt mind a nice large HDD (around the 60-80gig range), I'm always wanting 512mb of PC2100 DDR, or maybe even a decent quality burner, something that has a higher success rate than the one I'm using ;)

So, make me an offer - I really dont have much to lose here :D

Heh... the guy who rang me said my best bet would be eBay, but I dont have a credit card so I cant pay the fees. Theres other methods to pay... I know, but I dont like em...

...Does it work? Well it just came back from warranty so I should bloody well hope so! Shipping to the US wouldnt be that much. I can use EMS (International Courier, kinda like FedEx but cheaper) and that would be around US$10 at the very maximum. Thats just off the top of my head. I'll need to go into work to check the price sheet to be certain. I doubt it'll even be $5...

I can test it I suppose, to be certain...
