why does the search post the oldest date first?? if it only post 200 threads cant we change it so it posts the newest threads first?

If it's not an option on the Search page (which it's not) then there's no way for "us" to change it. You're probably going to have to just start with the last page of results returned to get the newest date first.

The UBB search functions have always stunk. I've been on various UBB boards since '98, and I've watched UBB go through several major versions, and the search function still has not gotten much better.

Not to mention that it's slow as molasses.

You can always set your search to 'since yesterday/5 days/10 days/30 days ago' and try again. Obviously, more options should be given: 3 mos./6 mos./9 mos. ago, etc.
