What's up with all the social forums (eg: General: Off Topic)? Does Internet.com want to take away our social lives, too?

Thats odd cause it seems like it's the areas where there is criticism of .com that seem to be removed. Every area that has a "other forum over here" or long discussions are gone. I assume tomorrow that they will be back up, but it is like I predicted when it started, it won't go down all of a sudden, it will be stops and starts that reduce visits until it is valid to terminate the project. :(

That is an interesting point, seeing as how General / Rants and Off Topic are all down and havent come back up. Earlier in the day I noticed the entire BB was down. I suppose it could be a glitch in the system, but I still wonder....

Many are starting to move, to bad for the LNO. Piss on the people and the people will piss on you.

This happened a while back as well. Turned out that the board just needed some maintenence. Be patient and see if it comes up again tomorrow or something.

I'm not certain that the problem here is due to internet.com. Although the three forums were the ones that had messages against internet.com, they are also the ones with the most messages. As Sensei explained last time this happened, he thinks that when the partition runs out of space, it starts overwriting things, so it seems logical that the first to go down would be the forums that take up the most space.

I really hope they are able to recover the posts... I find that they are very valuable resource.

It would be really a pity to lose them... :(
