can't think of the html off the top of my head, but i'm sure one of the possiblities for centering would cover both text and smilie images.

Actually since HTML 4 came out, the official "center" tag is <DIV ALIGN="center"></DIV>.

that's what i mean, i've seen the div stuff, and the <center> stuff. not sure which would be more appropriate. point was anyway, i wanna be able to center stuff, i could care less how it was implemented :p i worry about bitty details of code in other forums (http://www.linuxnewbie.org/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=14).

i kinda like perlmonks.org setup, but it kind of plays to a much more knowledgeable audience than here. slashdot does give you several options though, and that kinda thing might be right on for here.

There's already a sorta like that tag, the "code" tag, it formats the text within to exactly how you want it... but it says "code" above it, so it's not quite appropriate.
I can't wait til the new BB is implemented, I heard it's going to be awesome!
