I wrote this in another thread... well I think that I am tired of being a grasshopper... I think after a certain number of postes we should be bumped up to another level. Or let us change our rankings. If I dont want to be a grasshopper, I could change it to supa grasshoppa or something like that. I know thats a stupid idea but its something to break up the monotiny(sp?)

Yeah... it's a stupid and pretty useless idea but I'd also wish something like that. There are too much Grasshoppers here and it's getting a little boring.

It'll only work if they actually start dealing with the status's again - I think I should have been upgraded to a Grasshopper by now, from the number of posts, but no joy yet. :(

Perhaps it should range from Newbie to Guru - Newbie -> Script Kiddie -> l337 -> hacker -> kernel hacker -> guru -> Sensei ;)

(Perhaps the lowest rating should be 'Troll' :D )

Have you checked out phpBB? It's a great php/mysql message board that is very similar to the ubb in terms of features.

btw, it does have rankings support.
