since many of us (mostly me) have trouble meeting people with similar interests, we should have a kind of "Meet peeps near you" forum, not really for dating, but just to meet people

thats what I was thinking - kinda eliminating LUG's - not really eliminating them, just that is the point of LUG's, meet people in your area with the same interests - course online would be nice too..

that was the intention of events forum. a place where you could plan a meeting or get together.

well, im in central indiana, and unless you can think up some major Farming Apps for Linux, i doubt you will find a LUG around here. :(

BAHAHAAH!!!.. no, im serious though... like, the closest LUG to me is about 1hr 15 min away, and meets at a time i cant be there.. so i want a way to find OTHER Linux/Computer/Geek peeps, even if htey ARE marshmellow ones
