Threads with new posts since last visit

Sensei,

How about a link that shows only threads that have new posts since the last visit?

That would make replying, etc. alot quicker than having to sort through "Today's Active Topics" or checking each forum individually every time a user checks the LNO BBS.

Also, thanks for the great work!!!! I end up spending all day checking the site for new posts. Good thing I have an understanding boss and wife!

That's what the light bulbs and red folders are for, no?

Yeah, but I've noticed that the only time I'll get a light bulb or folder to change a color is if I completely close my browser and then revisit the site. But then again, I don't know if a link like I'm suggesting would act any differently.

What I had in mind would be a link that opened a window with all of the newly posted threads since the last visit on one page. This would save users from performing alot of see-sawing between forums and the main forum page just to see the few posts that may have changed in the previous x hours.

So if there were several posts since I had last logged in spread over several forums, I'd be able to click on a link and it would bring up a page with just the threads that have been posted to, regardless of the forum.
