...I got my nVidia card to work, but as soon as I rebooted into Windows (since my harddisk is partitioned) all the new drivers seemed to have disappreared. Help? :confused:

just for clarification. You got your nVidia card to work in linux? and then the drivers are gone in windows? because this is not 100% clear.
sounds like you need to reinstall the drivers in windows.
Maybe the solution is not that easy though.

Do you mean that your drivers failed to work under Linux once you had booted Windows and returned to Linux? (I'm assuming that you are not talking about Windows drivers not working.) How were you logged in?

more than likely you didnt save your changes at some point. Need more information please.
